Cecil Transit

Like many rural and small urban systems, Cecil Transit serves a highly dispersed population with diverse needs. Although based in and largely funded by Maryland, the agency also serves and receives some funding from Delaware. At its inception, Cecil Transit provided only demand response service to seniors.

Fairbanks North Star Borough Bus System

Fairbanks North Star Borough Bus System has a fixed route ridership of 550,000 and a demand response service that provides 21,000 riders with disabilities, seniors, and veterans with transportation throughout the community. Students and faculty at the University of Alaska Fairbanks accounts for 25% of the ridership, and tourists boost the ridership in the summer.

Pelivan Transit

Located in northeastern Oklahoma, Pelivan Transit is named after the annual migration of the white pelican to this region of the state which includes the agency’s seven county service areas and tribal jurisdictions. Pelivan Transit is owned and operated by Grand Gateway EDA, a council of governments serving these same counties in northeastern Oklahoma.
