OPEN POSITIONS

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEERS- Technical Support Engineers play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers. They must be highly motivated self-starters who responsibly manage our customer accounts. They should be comfortable troubleshooting software, data, and business driven issues. Responsibilities include answering, evaluating and prioritizing service requests via phone and email, troubleshooting, performing diagnostics, resolving complex problems and escalations, and working with other team members. Above all, the technical support engineer must have a passion for customer service and a great attitude.  1-2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalence is required. Experience with MS SQL Script Writing is preferred.
JAVA DEVELOPER-  RouteMatch is seeking a Java Developer to join our Development team. The developer would have professional experience coding JavaSE. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus, as is being able to write basic SQL statement without reference materials.  The Java Developer should be capable of working independently with guidance and input from Senior Developers. The Developer should be an independent thinker and have a willingness to learn and use coding techniques “that your friends don’t.”  This is predominantly “back end” or “server” work interfacing and exchanging protocols/data with other processes; minimal coded UI; some jsp/web. A minimum of  2 years of experience is required.
JAVA DEVICE DEVELOPER- RouteMatch is seeking a Java Device Developer with professional experience coding JavaME. A minimum of 2, preferably 3 years of experience is required. The Developer should be capable of working independently as well as with others and is willing to learn and use coding techniques “that your friends don’t”; independent thinker. We develop a single source-base mobile application capable of running on a variety of device platforms including various Java phones, Black Berry and Android phones and tablets, and proprietary WinCE device. The ideal candidate can embrace the concept of  “it’s all about layering and abstraction.” Most of this work is for dedicated devices communicating with RouteMatch’s backend software. Minimal general consumer facing work  will also be required.
C# DEVELOPERS (2 Positions Open)- Professional experience coding C#; minimum 2 years.  Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is required as is the ability to write basic SQL statement without reference materials. The candidate should be capable of working independently under the direction of Senior Developers. The Developer should be an independent thinker and also have a willingness to learn and use coding techniques “that your friends don’t.” Although this _is_ a C# position, there will also be debugging and minor fixes implemented to existing code.  Knowledge of COM interop a plus; a willingness to work in an environment where “we don’t just rewrite it all whenever Microsoft changes their direction” is a must.
CRYSTAL REPORT WRITERS- Crystal experience, preferably version XI or higher. The candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or higher and the  ability to write/maintain stored-procs which produce report data. Light VB/C# programming experience is a plus, but not required.
